After coming back from Shrivardhan, we were made to read a text by Cortazar and on basis of this we were supposed to draw what the experience of the text brought to us. We drew multiple drawings related to it and came upon one final drawing, that is one on the left side of the text. After this, we tried to bring Kond into the drawing. Everyone had a different story to deal with of Kond and according to that we had many iterations. From that drawing we were supposed to make a Spatial Apparatus that was basically what came out of the drawing into a space that had to be built. The final step was to figure out a structure to be built in Kond, keeping in mind, the local material to be used and had to make it economical.

From reading my text, the experience i got was of this never ending loop. So i decided to make a drawing of never ending staircase. From there i wrote a text combining my ideas of the never ending stairacse and my story of Kond about a shopkeeper. From the text, i drew a experiential drawing of never ending items in the shop. For the spatial apparatus, i thought the best was to make these numerous cylinders showing the term "never-ending". And the final structure was thought to be almost similar to my spatial apparatus, but only the strcture being an AIR-B-NB.
Drawing made from the text by Cortazar
The text goes like-
As I walked down the 2 steps to the shop, my eyes started wandering around. Not still for a second, always searching for something or other. Through the door I walked inside the shop, just to find a thousand things in there. A compacted space like that couldn't possibly have all grocery items I thought, until my eyes started noticing every little object there. Those plastic jars filled with different types of biscuit and chocolates, and every type of pulse. As my eyes moved from one shelf to other, my mind too began processing. There were limited vegetables, onion, potato, tomato, chilies, something that you need on an everyday basis. With that there was this small measuring instrument kept besides. As my eyes moved further, I saw a shelf full of stationery. Fevicol, books, erasers, it had all the basic needs. There was a plastic jar filled with pencils and pens. The number of objects just didn't end and it already felt endless. There were small pieces of newspaper everywhere to pack these pulses in small quantities. Gazing through the shop, I almost felt as if it were a supermarket. As I opened the door of therefrigerator, my mouth started watering. The Pepsi, and coldrinks and ice-creams made me hungry. There were these cartons of coldrinks left at the entrance of the door to the room. The shop had all types of face washes and lotions and body soaps. There were sachets of shampoo and conditioner hung on a string just above my head. Small packets of chips, Maggi masala, ready food, and all of junk hung from the same string. There were varieties of chips, some scattered on the ground, some in a cardboard box and the rest on the string. Small packets of dry fruits hung on one side of the wall. Just gazing through other things, I heard a sound, sound of motorcycle. As I turned my head towards the counter, I saw a man had bought fresh eggs, but in small quantity. There was a small table where a huge steel container had been kept, it had flour. And just above that there were pieces of clothes or I would say rags kept. Freshly bought milk was packed in bags and kept in the refrigerator. Single pieces of the chips packet were kept in a big cardboard box just besides refrigerator. Small bottles of coconut oil were kept in the jars. Heaps of packets of salt was kept in the below shelf. On the front counter , in the last shelf was all the electrical stuff needed, like bulbs of different powers. The shop always had one customer or the other and just looking at it I felt that there was something about this place that felt so compact yet something that never ended.
