AVANT GARDE

When asked to draw a map from one point to other, one draws something similar to what google maps show. Initially, what i drew was a similar google map type of a drawing. Later , we understood that a map could be shown through series of experiences one goes through when they travel from one point to another. For me, going to college was just a simple road and then a small hole through which you diretly get to the gate of college and that hole was a portal to me, which took me from a silent simple road, top a chaotic gate of college. I went to the site and drew some live sketches and combined few ideas to make the final drawing. From the drawing, we had to make something which might help us understand the experience of our drawing. So my experience was something like a feeling of home. Home in that short distance road of mine and i ended up making a small setup of what my room looks like.
